Now that I think of it, Ark has been including several KDE 3.x patches
for awile now. Most of them probably won't make it to Trinity, unless
we include Mission Control, which Ark has had for ages. It basically
tries to incorporate some stuff from KControl into one organized, easy
to navigate place. The only thing that may not work in Trinity is the
Install Packages, which points to Kynaptic (KDE port of Synaptic), and
very few distros use it (even Ark is dropping it and APT-RPM in favor
of RPM5 and openSuSE's zypper, we're still looking for a GUI tool
though). Perhaps we can comment out the Install Packages code and
alert packagers that it's there if they wish to change it?
