please don't put _any_ work into kpilot, which has long been abandoned (even 
at kde 3.5 times) - and that in a buggy state - as well as the supported 
hardware (palm pilots + clones) is as dead as anything can be.
kpilot should be dropped completely from trinity, IMHO.
