Try applying the attached diff to kde_infopage.css . On my system, it produces
identical boxes around the bar and the original box area (except that the bar
doesn't have the world map background image).
At the moment, it's using the "box-(part)-(position).png" graphics for both.
If you want to separate them, go to the section with the "* the nav bar"
header and change the filenames in each "background-image: url([file]);"
line.
