Hi Werner,
what version of TDE are you running?
I tried to replicate the same behavior on my system (Debian/Jessie, development TDE version), but everytime the disk was ejected properly. I tried audio CD, video DVD, data CD and data DVD.
As a note, my right-click popup menu is slightly different from yours: the eject action is not in a submenu but on the main popup menu.
