I would go for v14.0.x, easier IMO.
By the way, is the idea of releasing a maintenance version (v14.0.x) 
every 3 months or so still valid/accepted? Maybe given the freeze and 
preparation time required, every 4 months would be more reasonable?
Minor releases (v14.y.x) would instead be released less frequently 
(maybe once a year).
