[trinity-devel] mirrors won't let me edit broken r14 menus

Just a few hours ago I did a fresh Jessie install followed apparently only by
most of an R14 install. Now that I figured out there's a menu edit function
in the menu even though there is no menu editing package installed, and
kmenuedit-trinity needs to be installed, apt/aptitude can't reach, or apparently any other mirror. So I opened in
browser to try to download and install it manually, only to find there is no
such package as kmenuedit-trinity, at least, not on this particular mirror.
Is something critical in process of being rebuilt, and I just timed my
activity terribly yet again?

Is there a howto somewhere how to fix a broken menu manually, moving lost &
found seamonkey and firefox entries where they belong (in internet browsers)?
