Hi Slavek,

this was also my question. I searched for something else, but wherever I
look it shows the same ubuntu version/file.
I was also thinking I hit some wrong repo, but no, even in git it is this
same file. It could be some wrong link though. That is why I asked here.
I updated the changelog according my needs and build successfully.
For my needs I skip the creation of the orig archive by using the -b option.
For the testing of the fix, it was sufficient to compile and copy over the
tdeabc lib.

Thank you for the simplified procedure description however. I have
highjacked some debian packages, but I was lacking the completeness, so it
was exactly right for me. Usually however you get the proper debian
directory/files. I also asked because I see in the archive

../debian/icons/abouttde-kubuntu.png.uu
../debian/kubuntu-desktop-i18n
../debian/kubuntu-desktop-i18n/createdesktop.pl
../debian/kubuntu-desktop-i18n/findfiles
../debian/kubuntu-desktop-i18n/msgsplit

But for the test system it was really irrelevant.

BTW with the two fixes on the vcardtool code, my problems are gone and the
addressbook can sync up at least in the tde <-> file scenario. Next step
would be to test it with my old Nokia phone. The first meaningful sync in
10y. You bet I was waiting for it for that long. I need to finish the
calendar part in the next days/weeks. Very exciting!
