I have always viewed kmenu start and selection is something I do with a mouse. The option would preserve user choice while opening up the win key to be used in more than 1 way for the users that choose "Linux Style" Thinking out loud....... Personally, I don't see why it can't do both. Tap the win key once -> you get the menu, press it, followed by another key and you get the combination behavior. Is there a reason it won't do both? The 'alt' key alone alread does menu focus, why couldn't the win key alone just pop up the kmenu and still be used with other combinations? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
