"common" is a directory which come from kdelibs. In your 
case "debian/tmp/opt/trinity/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/khelpcenter/quickstart/common" 
doesn't exists or is a dead symlink? As I saw, you changed default value for 
HTML_INSTALL_DIR. You rebuilt kdelibs after HTML_INSTALL_DIR changing?

Note: I change tde_create_handbook() macro to install automatically *.css 
files, along *.docbook and *.png. Also, I added "EXTRA" directive, which add 
user's files, which are not detected automatically by tde_create_handbook().
