Agreed,

   Serghei has made that decision and I begrudgingly agree. It's the right 
thing to do. Take a look at the Arch KDE4 pkgbuilds. They do an out-of-source 
build, but IIRC it is with a direct 'copy' of the source tree to another dir 
and then building.

   Baho, I'll try and combine your improvements into the build scripts this 
weekend. It may be Sunday before I can get to it.
