Hi Tim,

I have much of the Debian-specific parts of Trinity hanging off a busy DS1.
(We omit some architectures and translations.)  If other people have other
large useful chunks you might opt to proceed as follows.

(1) Obtain repository space.  ;-)
(2) DO NOT ALLOW DOWNLOADS YET.
(3) Allow people with large useful chunks to rsync them to repository.
(4) Secure repository against those uploaders.
(5) rsync --checksum from your master for security.
(6) Start normal sync cycle and allow downloads.

This could knock a few weeks off of the upload time.
