I did too, until I tried the single-click implementation in kde3 - blew me away
with the efficiencies it brings. The whole key is knowing where to click. In
konqueror, to select (set focus) without executing, click in the filename column
(to the right of the filename in the blank area - not on the filename), etc..
Once I began using single-click, I couldn't ever imagine going back to double-click.

Now don't get me wrong, I still use double-click on M$ because their
single-click implementation suck compared to tde, but man, Linux is a single
click wonder :)
