Built with patch, restored twinrc containing: [ThirdPartyWM] WMAdditionalArguments= WMExecutable=twin Installed patched tdebase, startx -> no hang! Good catch. It would have taken me a week to figure out the problem preventing start was the 3 spurious lines in twinrc!
