   Bug includes x86_64 assembler error, broken sox compatibility and broken 
qimage compatibility.

   I did get it to build on i686 with:

   ./configure \
     --prefix=${TDEDIR} \
     --enable-gpl \
     --disable-sox \
     --disable-qimage
