Yep, I'm glad to do it. right now I have marching orders for:

(1) gcc46 build
(2) g++ -S -fverbose-asm -I??? <FLAGS> katerenderer.cpp
(3) valgrind of kwrite

Which I'll probably do in reverse order since I've already got the failing
binaries loaded.
