Darrell, does this mean I need to rebuild everything again (TQt3, 
tqtinterface, etc..) in order for the updates to work?

I'm in the process of testing the kwrite crash. If it is fixed, then we are 
golden, however if it still crashes after building on gcc 4.7.1 -- we need an 
ALL-HANDS-ON-DECK push to find the cause.
