Darrell,

  I'll look at them in gimp. The way this works is the .xcf file is the MASTER
file. It gets edited, then you can 'export' or 'save a copy' as .png at whatever
resolution you need. Gimp is the absolute BEST bitmap graphic tool going - it
goes head-to-head with any of the commercial offerings (and wins most of the time)

  Well worth making friends with.
