I guess this is part of the bug. After starting kmix manually and setting the
volume, the systray icon still shows it to be muted:

Trust me -- it almost blew my speakers when I set it at 100% and hit test sound.
There is something strange with this sound setup. This is the exact same
hardware I used with 3.5.12 I just removed and the kmix icon worked fine with
3.5.12. Now it shows itself as muted no matter what the volume is at??
