What we need to know is what goes in the URL part of web shortcuts. I've tested
what StartPage published:

'http://startpage.com/do/search?query=\{@}'

(we can use https also)

and it works fine. What form does Duck Duck Go take? I guess it would be
similar. Looking, I think it is:

'https://duckduckgo.com/html/?q=\{@}'

at least that is what I got to work. I added it.
