Built with GIT sources from Friday. I just now did a git pull on both tdebase and tdelibs and I have the latest TDEHW patches.

With a fresh new profile, before editing the icon labels through the popup menu, the mediamanagerrc file does not exist.

Here is a mediamanagerrc file after manually editing the icon label from the popup menu:

[UserLabels]
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0b.1/usb1/1-2/1-2:1.0/host18/target18:0:0/18:0:0:0/block/sdg/sdg1//dev/sdg1=Buffalo 1GB USB
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0b.1/usb1/1-2/1-2:1.0/host20/target20:0:0/20:0:0:0/block/sdg/sdg1//dev/sdg1=Cruzer 8 GB USB
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0b.1/usb1/1-5/1-5:1.0/host17/target17:0:0/17:0:0:0/block/sdf/sdf1//dev/sdf1=Cruzer 8GB USB
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0b.1/usb1/1-5/1-5:1.0/host19/target19:0:0/19:0:0:0/block/sdf/sdf1//dev/sdf1=Buffalo 1GB USB

As you can see, the icon label is being retained on a physical port basis and not UUID.

Unlike the current mediamanagerrc with HAL, there is no mount information for any devices in mediamanagerrc. I know of no way to add that information or the format of those strings.
