You misunderstood or overlooked my use of the word "minimum". Those screenshots are of minimum sizes the windows would permit, which isn't necessarily related to the windows' initial sizes, or any larger sizes that would obviate any need for scrollbars. For my usual use, scrollbars are *expected*. http://fm.no-ip.com/SS/KDE/b317553kde.png is an example of my primary use of these modules. Because they can not be shrunken below an arbitrary minimum size, I usually need to place them overhanging the right edge and/or the bottom edge of the desktop in order to limit their display of information that is irrelevant to the reason for making the screenshot, and limit their blocking of information I want showing.
