I would need a list of any improvements in Kickoff that are not in Kicker.
 Copious amounts of whitespace around each widget is not considered an
improvement. ;-)  Perhaps you could gather information from list members
on why they use Kickoff vs. Kicker?

There is quite a bit of code using the TDE HW library, so there should be
plenty of examples for you to study.  In particular, look at the hardware
devices KControl module and the tdebase kio media manager.

Not sure how you could do both when in 1.) you remove a feature and in 2.)
you enhance the same feature. ;-)  Do you mean that for 1.) you would port
over the useful features to Kicker?
