There's also the Gentoo kde-sunset overlay, browseable from;a=summary
(or use to just get a list of
applications with one-line summaries of what they're for).

There is some light maintenance going on there, as you can see from the
commit list.  Patches are in the open in the git repository (check the files/
subdirectory for each application).
