It is possible already AFAIK, you need to switch off TDE HW library
support and switch on HAL support.  Something like these arguments to your
cmake call should do the trick (sorry I don't remember the exact syntax
OTOH, but this is close):
- -DWITH_TDEHWLIB_DAEMONS="OFF" -DWITH_HAL="ON"
