While I have tried my best to finally free up time to continue working on TDE, and while I use it pretty much exclusively day after day, I have (sadly) had to bend to the demands of work and daily life over the past year or so. I am in agreement that much of the (now out of date) infrastructure should be moved to a new, smaller server that can be properly managed by the community and am working to provide as seamless of a handoff as I can for the good of the TDE project. Rest assured that the domains, etc. will be renewed. For the curious, a very large chunk of my "computer time" over the past two years has gone to the OpenPOWER initiative. I have been privileged enough to work with excellent folks that share my belief that computers are tools to be controlled by their owners, not DRM boxes and electronic trackers / leashes, and have had a significant hand in bringing about the Talos II / Blackbird systems [1] (with a third on the way). You will have seen quickbuild.io grow ppc64el support and TDE itself is being daily tested on that architecture, this means that TDE and owner-controlled computing go hand in hand now as they always have. Due to my involvement in both projects, I was able to pull some strings at Integricloud [2] and get a dedicated, powerful server permanently dedicated to the TDE project. This dedicated box is the server that I am working with Slavek to port the existing TDE data and functions to; as a self-contained unit managed by an external cloud provider service availability and connectivity should be excellent, and the horsepower of the box is sufficient to even be able to run builds on if desired. I sincerely hope I will be able to return to this project in the future. Presently I don't see that happening before 2020, but maybe something will break in a positive direction that I cannot see yet.
