Arch has an 'archroot' similar to debian that allows you to build in a pristine new build environment. So far it is building away. If it works -- it points to some weird problem that had develop in libkdecore.so that is causing the symbol lookup error... I'll try Tim's 3.3.8d once this finishes. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
