Maybe we can see this as "koffice is a part of the free software ecosystem" (and is surely 
a good software too).  But supporting koffice in TDE might be a lot of work, so this is 
really a matter of priority/human capacity instead of subjective battle, isn't it?

I wonder if there a clear Trinity manifesto out there? (except the about page 
http://www.trinitydesktop.org/about.php)
