I didn't mean to sound like I expected the Trinity team to start
hacking on KHTML in order to address the security issue.  I appreciate
that an enormous amount of work would be involved, and that you
just don't have enough developers.  I just wanted to raise the point
because nobody had mentioned what I thought was a very serious
issue.

I agree that the only feasible way to tackle the problem would be to
use another rendering-engine in Konqueror.  I imagine that this would
still be a massive task (I am not a programmer) and perhaps still more
work than you are able to take on at this time; but maybe one day...
