Huh. Then something isn't right here. I don't know what or where to troubleshoot. :(

Every possible check box is enabled. The only evidence I see that something is happening is KControl creates $HOME/.xcompmgrrc. Yet no fancy eye candy.

I don't use any compositor, but I wanted to test and ensure everything is working.
