hello, I'm back with a cleaned up version of the mac switching patch. It incorporates problems noticed by Martin, as well as some cleaned up code (aka the first time around I did things poorly :-P ). I have attached it to this email and to the bug report. Please test and let me know. Also there is no longer a required patch for tdecore. Calvin
