I don't know exactly which are required. There are only one or two packages I
need to add LDPATH with /opt/trinity/lib/trinity. The big issues have been with
the use of /opt/trinity/lib/trinity instead of /opt/trinity/lib/kde, but most of
those issues are already fixed.

If you are having issues with /opt/trinity/lib/trinity, I'd make sure something
isn't looking for /opt/trinity/lib/kde.
