Hello, to avoid being stuck with only one sub-script, I think it would 
be even better to have a splitted script with a ".d" subfolder or 
something like the "/etc/profile.d" directory ..
For example: /etc/starttde.d/
It would contain any number of scripts that would be called by the main 
"starttde" script.
