Very good to know, thanks for the info!  I have tentatively marked that
bug report as an upstream problem, as all provided evidence points in that
direction.

I know what that's like. ;-)  I'm working with him to ensure that the new
GIT branches he is creating won't cause problems with any TDE services; if
all goes well he should get the green light from me in 24 hours or so.
