I just pushed a patch to fix some text strings in KControl Input Actions and related changes to the r14-xdg-update script.

If you can, rebuild tdebase and then if you have a backup of your 3.5.12 profile, try again. I really hope you have a backup of your 3.5.12 profile because that will help us further debug remaining problems. The closest I can approach that is to use the migratekde3 script to convert a KDE3 profile. Regardless, the latest patch does fix a few things more, although they won't fix the menu or print screen problems.
