Clean TDE of Kubuntu references

I want to do a little personal reflection, as a constructive criticism. As KDE 3 lover, I like TDE, but as user of a distro different of Ubuntu, I am not comfortable with the Ubuntu reminiscences dragged by TDE project. For example, the KDM defualt wellcome message ( ), the 'My computer' and 'Menu T > System menu' icons ( ), and all problems around the use of su instead of sudo (for example ) in the no-sudo systems (the vast majority of distributions).

IMHO I think it would have been easier and cleaner if TDE forked directly of the source code tree or from a distro compilation packages not so manipulated or customized as Kubuntu do (for example )
Best regards!
