Hardly intutive, and definitely not discoverable.

OK, I beg to differ.  Konqueror is better in my opinion in almost every
respect (loading/deleting can be a bit slow, but well worth it in most
cases).  However, I would agree that the terminal is easier to use than
every other graphical file manager I have tried.
