I don't know. I thought sed was a standard install. Besides there are several other instances of sed being used in the script that precede Trinity. And some sed snippets you added back in the 3.5.11 days. If we add a sed sanity test then the test should be at the beginning of the script and would be beyond the scope of this patch.

Push the patch?
